Pumpkin Spice Churros Recipe

Good morning everyone!
Who's up for some churros with a bit of a holiday twist?
I've always loved churros and have made them before...
this time I thought of a great idea!
I was craving churros so I thought...
Why not incorporate one of the most popular flavor of fall, besides cinnamon, with the churros?
And that's how this churro recipe was created!
Lets get started! (:

1. In a bowl mix dry ingredients.
2. Pour Coconut Milk Pumpkin Spice and Coconut Oil. then pour dry ingredients. Mix until it becomes a dough like texture and remove from fire.
3. In another pan heat up oil for frying.
4. When dough is somewhat cool put into a piping bag to pipe into the oil to fry.

5. Fry until golden brown.

Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice

1. In a bowl with cover, mix the sugar, cinnamon spice, and pumpkin pie spice.
2. Place cooked churros into bowl with sugar mixture, cover the bowl, and shake until all churros are covered.

Chocolate Sauce:
3 Tablespoons any choice of Wild Friends Chocolate spread
1 1/2 Tablespoon  any choice of almond, rice, soy, or coconut milk

1. In another small pan put 3 Tablespoons of spread and choice of dairy-free milk.
2. Mix until well incorporated and sauce-like. Remove from fire right away or it may burn.

Apple Pie Recipe

Hey everyone! Its already autumn which means its time for pumpkins and cinnamon and lots of comfort food!
Today, I've got a delicious autumn comfort food called an apple pie!
Hahaha... I'm pretty sure you've all had one before but here's one good recipe that I've made up after trying many different recipes.

So first we'll start of with the pie crust:
  • 1 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Butter (room temp)
  • 4 Tablespoons Cold Water
  1. Mix the flour and brown sugar together.
  2. Pour the cold water and mix.
  3. Add the butter until butter is well incorporated and it becomes dough-like.
  4. Roll in to a ball, plastic wrap, and set in the fridge for 20-30 min.
  5. So, after the dough chills for a bit, roll out the dough and place on to your pie pan.

Then its time to start the filling
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon Flour
  • 2 Tablespoon White Sugar
  • 6 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon water
  • 1 Large Granny Smith Apple
  • 1 Fuji Apple
  1. Preheat oven for 350F Degrees
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter then and the sugar. Once the sugar and butter are mixed together add the water and mix well.
  3. Slice the apple and place into pie.
  4. Pour the syrup on the "apple-pie" then top with crust if you'd like (:
  5. If you're using a small pie pan bake for 350F degrees for 15 minutes (or until crust is brown)
  6. If a big pie pan bake 350F for 30 minutes (or until crust is brown)

I hope you enjoy this recipe!

Organic Watermelon Lemonade (with Rosemary)

Top of the morning to you! (or whatever time it is you are reading this)
Anyways, I survived Monday!
Not that there's anything wrong with Mondays but, its been crazy hot!
Thank you, Willis Haviland Carrier, for inventing air conditioners.
BTW, I didn't know Willis created it, I just googled it right now.
And speaking of hot weather...
Today, I've got a recipe that will cool you down this summer - Lemonade!
Not just plain boring lemons, water, and sugar but Watermelon Lemonade with Rosemary!
A recipe inspired by the Lemonade Restaurant's Watermelon Rosemary Lemonade:

Plus, its a great drink for 4th of July this Friday and its organic!
And like most of the recipes I share, its super easy!

Here's all you need:

  • Blender
  • Strainer
  • 2 cups Organic Watermelon (cut into chunks)
  • 1/4 cup Organic Rosemary
  • 1 3/4 Cup Squeezed Organic Lemon Juice
  • 1 1/3 Cup Water (AND another 1/3 cup)
  • 1/2 Cup Organic Sugar

Then all you gotta do is:
  1. Put all the ingredients in the blender except the extra 1/3 cup water.
  2. Blend well until its like a juice.
  3. Strain into container. Use a spoon to help push the juice through the strainer but keeping the pulp inside the strainer.
  4. Add 1/3 cup water and mix.
  5. Place in the fridge to chill or serve right away with Ice Cubes!

I hope you all Enjoyed this recipe I shared, keep hydrated this hot summer, and (Early) Happy 4th of July!

Bakery on Main's Strawberry Shortcake Oatmeal

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend(:
We're starting off this week with a few recipes from a summer must have food, I think at least. Haha!
This Must-Have is The Bakery on Main's Strawberry Short Cake Instant oat meal!
I've really enjoyed this oatmeal since it tastes very much like strawberries and cream.
It reminds me a little of Starbucks' Strawberries n' Cream Frappuccino!
Actually it reminds me a lot of it! This oat meal helps my cravings for the ever-so-sugary-and-sweet Starbucks Frap and most especially cupcakes(and other sweets)!
It Mostly satisfies my craving for cupcakes because if you follow my personal Instagram account you'll know that I do eat quite a bit of cupcakes(Casey's Cupcakes are my fave)!

Anyways, I should now start by telling you how good it is.
So, if you're a celiac this is good because its GLUTEN FREE!
And non GMO, dairy free, casein free, low in sodium, and high in fiber!

Enough of that now and here's a few recipes for this other than just instant oats :D
